Sandy Raben

Sandra Raben grew up in Philadelphia and is a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Girls and the Gratz College Normal School. She has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's Degree in Contemporary Jewish Studies from Brandeis University. She has been working for many years with students of all ages in a variety of Jewish settings. Ms. Raben has been a director of education at schools in Toronto, Ann Arbor, Seattle, Cleveland and San Diego. While in San Diego Ms. Raben also worked as a trained leader and mentor for Weight Watchers. A recent move to Austin has brought her here to the AJA. She is beginning her second year at AJA and she also teaches classes at Beth Shalom and Agudas Achim.
