This is Rachael Stavchansky's fourth year at AJA. She currently works as our office manager, but has been known to teach drama as well. Ms. Stavchansky shares with AJA students twelve years of teaching and directing experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Brown University in Religious Studies and a Master's of Fine Arts from UT Austin in Drama and Theater for Youth. After graduating college, she taught middle school students in Osaka, Japan about English language and Jewish holidays. She has studied acting at Interlochen Center for the Arts and Yale University. She is also certified as a Theatre Arts Specialist for grades K–12. When not engaging our students or keeping our office running smoothly, Mrs. Stavchansky enjoys cooking, reading, hiking and visiting her neighborhood playground with her husband and son.
