Shira Garber Strosberg joined AJA two years ago as its Director of Admissions and Outreach. She spent the three years before joining AJA as the Director of Community Education at the Bureau of Jewish Education of Rhode Island, primarily working as principal of the Harry Elkin MIDRASHA Community High School program, a complementary Judaic studies program for teens in grades 8–12. Before moving to Rhode Island, Shira received an M.A. in Jewish Communal Leadership and an MBA in non–profit management from the Hornstein and Heller programs at Brandeis University. She is excited to embrace the warm weather and the incredibly warm Jewish community in Austin.
