Jeni Tubbs

Raised in South Carolina, Jeni Tubbs moved to Texas to attend college and has now lived in Austin for more than half her life. She earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and worked in sales and marketing before joining her parents in their business of providing tutoring, testing, and educational consulting for children and adults with learning challenges. After ten years in the education world, Jeni realized she had found her niche and earned a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Principal's certification. She taught in the Eanes ISD before joining Austin Jewish Academy in 2002. In her role as Principal, Jeni most enjoys collaborating with teachers and parents in order to provide the very best opportunities for AJA students. She adores children of all ages and believes learning should be engaging, challenging, and most of all fun. In her free time, Jeni enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter (a former AJA student), reading, going to movies, and traveling.
