Volunteering & AJA's Parent Association

Welcome to the AJA Parent Association!

Austin Jewish Academy’s Parent Association provides volunteer support for our faculty and leadership team, helps build community within our school, and assists with fundraising that supports programs for our children.

Our parent volunteer efforts and leadership truly strengthen and enrich our school program and are an essential part of our school community. AJA thrives on parent volunteerism; we value all of our parents’ time, talents and treasures. We encourage all AJA parents to participate significantly in both the volunteer and fundraising efforts of the school.

As you will see in the AJA Volunteer Handbook, there are many opportunities to support your child's school, whether you have just a few minutes or several hours a week. This includes helping in the classroom and at school-wide activities, purchasing scrip (gift cards), giving to the annual campaign (we strive for 100% participation!) and participating in our annual Gala, our primary fundraiser.
