AJA offers a variety of athletic opportunities for students grades 5-8. We compete in the Austin Inter-Parochial League (AIPL) with other area private schools. You can check out the league website at aiplsports.org. Participating in Maccabee Athletics is great way for students to develop comradery with other classmates, improve teamwork skills and build skills and a sense of understanding in a wide range of sports. We currently offer: volleyball, cross country, basketball, track, soccer and tennis. All teams are separated into 5/6th and 7/8th grade boys and girls except soccer which is co-ed. Students are encouraged to be involved in as many sports as they like. Practices are set up so they can participate in multiple sports if the seasons overlap.
