Students just finished their multi-medium art project “Edward Monet’s Bridgeâ€. They started by folding a paper towel and then covered it in different colors with liquid watercolor. Once dry, students opened the colored paper towel up and glued it to a colored background and while that was drying, students practiced drawing the arch of the bridge and its rungs. Once comfortable with the shapes, the students mixed their own model magic with color and then built their bridges onto their paintings. Students enjoyed the multi-process activity and how it came together to create these beautiful Monet bridge landscapes.
We have started with our annual gala project.
