In science, students have had fun plotting the coordinates for the constellation. Now as we conclude our solar system unit, the third graders are busy designing their own constellation. Like the ancient Romans and Greeks, students will create their own unique interpretations/stories for their unique constellations. As we integrate our science with our writing, I am sure we will all be dazzled by their luminous creations.
In Math, we are continuing to practice and set to memory our multiplication times tables. We will be taking times tests up until our Sundae Celebrations on MAY 23rd where students will be served icy scoops by our administration in celebration of their learning. To assist in setting these to memory we are playing loads of games daily like today’s product bingo. In math we are also exploring extension facts and problems with parentheses. This unit will take us through the end of the year!
