AJA’s National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony and Celebration will be held on Wednesday, April 18 at 3:00pm in the Community Hall; friends and family are invited to attend. NJHS was founded in 1929 in the hopes of creating a unit that would distinguish students with excellence in their scholarly achievements as well as their citizenship. The ideals of academic excellence, character, service, and citizenship remain as relevant today as they were in 1929. Through the NJHS, students are expected to maintain the academic standards and extend the qualities that won them selection.
AJA Middle School students qualify each year at the end of Trimester 2 by having an average of 90% or above in core subjects and being a role model to others. Inductees into this nationally recognized program must also commit to involve themselves in service to the community.
