Q: What is the Inspire Annual Campaign?
A: The Inspire Annual Campaign is an appeal for donations to support the current operations of the school. The Campaign for this fiscal year began August 1, 2020 and will end July 31, 2021.
Q: Why do I need to donate to the Annual Campaign when I already pay tuition?
A: Tuition does not cover the actual cost of educating each child. The average percentage of the budget covered by tuition is 80%. Federation support provides approximately 5% of the funds needed to educate each child. Without taking tuition assistance into consideration, this leaves a 15% gap to be covered through fundraising efforts. In addition, AJA gives approximately 37% of tuition assistance to students who could not otherwise attend. This level of tuition assistance increases the gap to be covered through fundraising efforts to 20%.
Q: How much should I give?
A: We ask each person to participate at a level appropriate for his or her circumstances. Every gift, no matter what amount has a direct impact on the educational experience of each of our students; it is also a way for you to say you believe in what we are doing.
