Welcome to our Third grade Hebrew Blog!
I am very excited to be teaching your children this year.
It has only been a week and a half but we have been working hard getting started on our Hebrew unit and establishing our learning routines and etiquette. It is actually quite amazing to see how far the students have already come with regard to their level of their performance in Hebrew class! The level of success in this weeks assignments have already doubled, while the amount of time it took the students to complete the tasks was more than halved.
I have high expectations for your children for this year and they are getting on board already!
This year, we will be continuing with our wonderful Hebrew curriculum from Tel Am, which your children used to learn Hebrew last year. In addition, we will be implementing a reading and writing intensive learning structure which will allow students to work on independence and fluency, each at their own level. In third grade, we will be switching over to cursive writing. We will be learning a lot of relevant vocabulary and focusing on  different conjugations of verbs. We will also work on improving sentence structure to a higher level of sophistication and introduce past tense verbs to our vocabulary.
I am looking forward to our classroom activities and projects. But most of all, looking forward to getting to know them all!
Its going to be a wonderful year!
All the Best,
