Third Grade Jewish Studies Blog - November

By in ,

Third grade is doing such fun activities in Jewish studies! We wrote a script together as a class to perform at the Chumash Ceremony (tomorrow!!!). We have also been learning and practicing the Torah service, which we will be doing as a community together at the ceremony, and in the future. Additionally, we have all really connected to the characters of Lech Lecha, which will carry us into our learning for Vayera coming up next!

We will also be doing a project which integrates with general studies in geomorphology; we will be planning our own trip around Israel to visit all of the different landforms! We will be learning more about the geography of Israel, as well as some really special sites, all while connecting back to learning in general studies. I can’t wait to see which landforms each student will choose to visit!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning!
